Carolina Costa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the program coordinator of the MINT Anxiety Clinic at the Center for Children and Families (CCF) at Florida International University. She has also coordinated research conducted at the MINT lab, including the Kids Face-to-face And Computer-Enhanced Formats Effectiveness for Anxiety and Related Symptoms (Kids FACE FEARS) study and the Selective Mutism Intervention Long-term Evaluation (SMILE) study. Carolina holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling Psychology, both from Florida International University. Her primary interests include providing evidence-based treatment to children with anxiety disorders from diverse backgrounds and exploring how multilingual and cultural factors influence childhood anxiety.
