Dr. Suneeta Monga is a Professor of Psychiatry in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, and the Associate Psychiatrist-in-Chief at SickKids Hospital. She holds the TD Bank Financial Group Chair in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and leads an international clinical research program invested in outcome selection and measurement across pediatric anxiety disorders and adolescent depression. Her research focuses on developing a better understanding and improving what we select as outcomes and how we measure these outcomes across youth mental health clinical trials and clinical practice. In addition, to her work in measurement science, Dr. Monga has been actively engaged in the development of an evidence-base for the assessment and treatment of preschool anxiety disorders, including selective mutism. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, written several books and book chapters, and presented her research nationally and internationally. Dr. Monga is a strong advocate of the importance of integrating mental health care into the physical health care of children and youth. She is the recipient of several awards for her teaching and mentorship of students and trainees.
