Dr. Kira Boneff-Peng is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Sunfield Center, a specialty treatment center in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr. Boneff-Peng specializes in providing evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults with selective mutism, social anxiety, and other anxiety disorders. She has extensive experience using treatments such as cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy to help individuals with SM face their fears and find their voice. She values thinking holistically when engaging in treatment planning in order to prioritize client's values, goals, and plans for the future throughout treatment. She encourages balancing family support and participation in treatment with building self-advocacy skills for teens and young adults as they transition toward independence.
