Emmett Kallmeyer holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound, where he played an instrumental role in planning and facilitating the Brave Explorers Camp. Through this experience, he received direct clinical training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy adapted for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM) and developed strong proficiency in supporting children with SM. Following graduation, Emmett's passion for working with neurodiverse populations led him to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role deepened his skills in child-directed interactions, interdisciplinary team collaboration, and family involvement — particularly with children diagnosed with ASD. Emmett currently serves as a full-time Case Manager at Brave Seattle, where he also carries an active RBT caseload, providing direct behavioral support alongside his case management responsibilities. He has also plays a major role in running the testing clinic within Brave. He applies his breadth of clinical experience to deliver direct, high-quality care to clients while advocating for their families throughout the assessment and treatment process. Emmett's long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Outside of the office, Emmett enjoys running, rock climbing, exploring the outdoors with friends, getting lost in a book, and hunting down a good sweet treat.
