Dr. Rachel Merson, Psy.D., is the Clinical Director of the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders. She oversees all clinical activities at Child CARD and is deeply involved in training and supervising graduate students and trainees. Dr. Merson provides individual therapy, parent training groups, and neuropsychological evaluations. As Director of Child CARD's Selective Mutism Program, she leads Brave Bunch, an intensive treatment program for young children with selective mutism. She is an active member of the Selective Mutism Association's Board of Directors, having served as President from 2022-2024. She frequently trains schools and community groups on selective mutism and child anxiety.
